Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton Cover and live 09' Victim's Rights Week 2008 POMC conference pics .
Debbie Vicari singing live at 2009 victim`s rights week.
More about Marsy's law here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ehmOTepsdw Another song I performed at the Justice for murdered children's event this 2009 victim's rights week LaWanda Hawkins put on. I also included photos sent to me by CVUC - Crime Victims United that include the event that took place in Sacramento at the Capital building. President Obama officially declared the week of April 26th through May 2nd National Victim's rights week when many event's took place. I attended many in the Southern California area and many took place throughout the United States. I also included some photos from a POMC (Parent's of Murdered Children) conference I attended and sang at in orange County California in 2008. Marcia - Marcus' mom, was also at this conference and I met her there as well as many other wonderful people. She has photos posted online and I asked her if I could use them for this video thus I included them here as well as some very eloquent thngs she wrote. One photo of me singing is credited to Tthe Orange County Register (Orange Ccounty newspaper) - thank you for allowing me to use it. The POMC conference was well described by Marcia and it means a lot to those that attend which is why I mention the coming event in Ohio that is August 20th through the 23rd for which information can be found here http://pomc.com/2009conference/schedule.htm I advocate for groups that have lost loved ones via murder but also for domestic violence victims and abuse victims as well. There are many common denominators. But for those that may or may not know, my sister was murdered in 1992 and the first song I ever wrote can be found here in my videos called What I'd Give. Doing these events means a lot to me and to those that put them on. We help each other because we know what it's like and it's so hard to get through. But with each other's help we do get through it. Victim's rights are needed to help us focus on getting by instead of getting through the justice system. OK as for the song, I actually put a recorded track first of me doing the audio because the audio was kind of messed up by a truck nearly sounding like it would crash 1/3 of the way through and a late video start plus some wind. It is kind of comical and maybe even fun to watch why I look and kind of nearly smile and laugh yet still sing through at such a solemn event. I dislike not giving a true live performance on a live video yet I included it at the end to show why you get my pretty track to give the video what it needs. However you can laugh at the truck anyway once the event and photos are appreciated :) Ya just never know when it is live!!!! By the way, This song is dedicated to Bob and Marcella Leach. With Love. Both of whom were/are pioneers in the victim's rights movement.
