Congratulations to Field House Gymnastics Coach Zak Kerkoulas for breaking the Guinness World Record for the Roman Rings Hanging Duration! 150 campers cheered Zak on at the Field House as he held the position for 39.23 seconds. Pending acceptance by the Guinness World Record Committee, Zak broke the previous record of 32.84 by 6.39 seconds. Way to go, Zak!

  • wow thats a perfect iron cross

  • @bigboobspecial I think it has been, since its on their site as the longest hold

  • @MrArbitrager It does say "pending acceptance". Do we know if it was accepted?

  • @BearJewTX completely agree with you mate. This is obviously still very impressive, but what are records if they don't specify rigid rules?

  • tyler yamaguchi deserves to retain the title

  • so many people jealous of one guy!now i am sure that this guy did a great job....come on dudes get on the rings and do the job better!its easy to talk when u are in your couch right?

  • This is crap, that is the worst cross I have ever seen Tyler Yamauchi for sure did better and held the actual position.

  • first of all a cross is supposed to be level right??which he was for like 20 seconds and then starts doing ymca bullsh*t for the last 10 seconds...doesnt count buddy....

  • this is a terrible cross...the previous holder held an actual cross the entire time, not a "Y" position.

  • From the guinness world record site:

"A proper iron cross requires the body to be rigid with arms at a 90-degree angle to the body and parallel to the floor. "

He was well below 90-degrees for at least the last 1/3rd of his cross. This record should still belong to the previous holder in my opinion.
