  • Hey I heard armaverse armatures aren't that great, and I don't want to commit 140 bucks without hearing at least one good comment. Are they any good? Do they hold poses very well, and is there a lot of tension in the joints? Thanks in advance.

  • you can adjust the joint tension and how well it holds poses by tightening and loosening each individual joint. they are good. i say, invest the 140 dollars.

  • Cool!

    Jeff

  • is that a good armature

  • @Svergara1 m_) Hey, don't worry about TIME. If I don't get sick on the way, I still have decades to master it.

So, with that say, I will take your wise advice and start learning how to sold. Any ideas how to start out first? Just soldering random stuff? Any kind of metal you recommend me to use perhaps?

And I don' have ball joints, neither the balls (well, not those) but if you have any suggestions....I am all ears.

  • This kind of design is hard to make, just strictly on the fact that ball joint hardware is a pain to find in stores. ( at least I can't find em)

Best thing to do is to learn how to use a soldering iron and build your piece from scratch, which takes TIME...lots of it

  • it looks like u could make one out of mechano

  • m_) guess what, I've learned a bit more about the subject the past months.

m_) The prices are extremely high 100 and up (dollars) plus shipping.

m_) If you want to buy one you must expect to have at least 150 bucks with you (dollars, not sure in euros)

...or you can learn how to make one. I am learning how to make the feet.

  • do you know anywhere that sells them cheap like £40-£60 cause everywhere I look they are like £160 and higher

  • Never bought one, though they sell them in one piece. However, some places sell pieces, individually. Anyhow...if you are really in stop-motion..you are not really expecting someone to do the job for you, basically. Just my humble opinion.. ~Dan Metalmadcat

  • when you buy it apart does it come with instructions?

  • yeah you can buy them in online stores..

yet its not fun buying it all made for you..the fun is making yourself..

anyhow they are great, I just wish i knew how to make them myself, that kind..
