hey man..i'm getting a drift car shortly but i don't know if i should get nitro or eletric. i like nitro becasue of there sound but i don't like the whole maintneces becasue u have to buy a lot of things.. but the eletric is less maintneces... can u help me out becasue i cant decide..i'm also just getting into rc drifting so what car should i get. thx man if u can message me back
I used to have a nitro rc's I sold them all because of the high maintenance issues but, for an experience hobbyist might not be an issue if you dont mind buying parts all the time.
I don't anything against about nitro rc's I know it's fun loud and annoying to others.
Electric rc's is not cheap either but if you buy a ready to run guaranteed you will have fun as much as a nitro. Some upgrades for electric can beat the nitro as far as speed.
What tires do you use on concrete... Im kinda new to drifting

For drifting we prefer electric over nitro because of we can drift any where at anytime nobody will be bothered about the noice and the smell of gas.
Check eBay for deals sometimes used rc's have upgrades included. Just shop wisely look for hpi, yokomo, tamiya, hotbodies brands.
