  • No H-pipe, and why run cats?

  • Any vids of this thing wide open?

  • Hmmm, we'll have to arrange that. I was just thinking that last week.

  • What cam did you use?

  • It's a Comp 268. The build list is in the other video, "ford 300, cam"

  • sounds nice

  • Cats on a 72' model truck? Get out of here.......

  • So are you running and H-pipe? If not then I suggest you do so not just for the added torque but since they make it sound a lot better. And get some Thunderbolt highflow cats they don't restrict flow at all and really clean up the tone.

  • Sounds really good. I'm surprised you're getting as good gas mileage with that big of a cam.

  • Sounds as We planned... Choppy as a bent 8 with none of the bent8 charcteistics... Gettin good mpg(17mg in town) With out that annoyoying unballanced innefficient sound. I have 22 mpg at a 65 consant from here to Portland and back.
