Im going to be doing a resto mod to my 69 340.. aluminum heads.. intake.. moly pistins and moly forged crank.. roller cam roller lafters roller rockers.. efi.. the works just tryna make is a high performance street car that prety much appears stock. DEFFINETLY modding the suspension haha Full disk brakes on plyeurethane baby!
You may be right. I was just quoting factory text. Which were conservative at best. My car has no P/S no AC and has 3.23 rear gear. And it does mid 14's 90mph(ish). I never get out of third. I have a MSD AL6 box in it with a 6000 rpm rev-limiter. The motor is all stock and only the heads were rebuilt. The bottom end is all factory 1968 MoPar with god only knows how many miles! LoL
340ci/5.6L, stock 275hp/340tq. 2800lbs car. Rear gears that could be ordered from the factory in the car, 2.76, 2.93, 3.23, 3.31, 3.55, 3.73, 3.91, 4.10, 4.56, 4.89, 5.17, 5.57. Most came with 3.23, 3.31, 3.55, 3.73, 3.91. 3.23's would do high 14's low 15's stock. I have one with a 4spd. 3.91's would do low 13's from the factory. The 340 would go through the 1/4 in third gear with any of the 3.23-3.91's. Hope this helps?
i bet that coulda would eat ur cars for dinner. just cuz u got a fuckin accord dont mean ur car is fast. 1.8 litres is not good. my mountain dews got more then that. hes got either a 5.5 or a 6.3 in that thing. u really wanna run an import against that?? GROW UP!
