I actually really like the IS-F, even the tail pipes that a lot of people don't. This is just crappy magazines, but the IS-F ran exactly the times as the LS2 400 HP corvette which were both 12.60-12.70 @ 113-114 in the 1/4. The LS3 has been running 12.3 -12.4 @ 115-116. So the IS-F isn't that much slower than the 436 HP LS3 Vette which is amazing. It must be that 8 speed tranny b/c it has 20 less HP and weighs 600 lbs more. On paper, the vette should easily run away from it.

My buddy just put a stroked ls3 in his 2002 Z06 today plus some crazy ass big cam.

My IS-f is a whole new set of pants partner... and u wouldnt be the first ls3 I had to give the bidness. I've driven nothin but manuals I kno when someone to scared to shift or just a rookie

The ls3 has the a6 tranny so there can't be any granny shifting and as far as the run goes it was all for fun we new the zo6 would pull just wanted to c how close the 2 cars matched up...
