Dramatisation of the love affair between Sidney James and Barbara Windsor, played out against the backdrop of the 'Carry On' films during the 1960s and 1970s. - IMDb

... Wonderful cast including Geoffrey Hutchings as Sid James, Samantha Spiro as Barbara Windsor and Adam Godley as Kenneth Williams.

... In 10 parts, unfortunately. :-(

  • excellent, thank you

  • i so enjoyed this movie, had me in buckets of tears mind you.... showed the real unhappy side of the cast - great to see babs playing herself in final scenes!

  • love the change over

  • @mattyboyers im the same, its a great insight , but the dates were totally out,,,,

talking about doctor, again during the making of Cleo

You only live twice being made in 1978

    Girls made prior to Henry

and other errors, its must have been on purpose as they were major errors!

  • Just noticed it's the real Barbara Windsor in the last scene.

  • Thank you, I saw it on TV and was looking for an example for a friend on my Facebook list. I posted this part. I don't know if it ever made it to DVD but thank you so much for uploading. Bless you xx

  • @Mousepie999 to be fair, he ended his diary in that way a few times, and discussed suicide even more. I personally don't think he did commit suicide. If he was going to have done that he would have taken a LOT more than he did. Plus I personally don't think he would have done it whilst his mother Louie was still alive.

  • Brilliant. Thanks for taking the trouble to upload all the episodes.

  • "Oh, whats the bloody point?" The last sentence in Kenneth Williams's diary, the night he committed suicide.

  • Thank you for uploading this. I grew up with Carry on films and maybe that is why I'm like a moth to the flame whenever they are on or when looking through utube for any snippet of info I did not know about them and the wonderful actors and actress
