I hate the smell in Paris subway stations. It's a little like vomit even though the stations are clean. It's as if the building materials or the train themselves gave off this odor. It is striking when you get into a station from outside.

Because ,before 1999 the line 8 was two destination on the East side:
Creteil préfecture(Blue) Maisons-Alfort les Julliotes (Yellow) today it 's deleted

The same model of train (MF77) are also used on line 7 wich have a choice of two destinations at a end of the line. That's why this line 8 train has got this sign.

I'm curious why that train has a sign indicating a choice of two destinations... this is on line 8, which has only one terminal station on either end...
