  • You're welcome! Would you say you like yours better? I'm glad I had mine restrung, but when I first used mine, honestly, I didn't know what I was doing, because I was only used to a 5-string marionette and when I first received the "Old Man," marionette I got him all tangled up. :(

He's better, now, and on his way back home from the UK. :)

Do you perform with marionettes professionally?

  • Actually I'm not sure...I think I like the vertical better. No, I don't perform professionally...just for my own please. I do a little of everything lol.

  • Thanks...yes mine came with the European but I changed it out...an experiment you could say.

  • It took me some getting used to the vertical one, but I like it better, too. Me neither, but I may share mine semi-professionally, just for the fun of it. :)

  • I have this exact "Old Man," marionette, only, my controller is a vertical, upright controller; isn't he cute?!

  • Good to see this. Its interesting, being brought up on European upright controls how an American flat paddle control can be used for a human figures. Thanks
