YOU can shape, I both lure and help the dog when getting started in some things - my life is too short to wait all the obedience things I teach out to shape. I do shape some things, and others I lure - nice thing about dogs is you can lure and help them. Wally is quite operant, and I am mostly positive, but I am not "clicker only" - there are many ways to train a dog, especially for competition obedience.
