Entry: Pete Murray Saving Grace cover competition

This is my entry into the Pete Murray Saving Grace cover competition. I apologize for the video. I'm not talented enough to make a video to go along with the song, and I didn't think about taping myself while recording the song until after I was done. Hence, the slide show.

All instruments and singing performed by myself, recorded on a Boss BR-600. Drum track was programmed by myself using the BR-600.
My Guitar is an Ibanez Gio (RX10)

Well, I can't say that I know much about Pete, or his drug preference. In my opinion a cover should reflect the artist covering the song rather than promoting the original. It was his contest and he liked the Bob Dylan version best. 'nuff said. However, I thought that there were many better and more original versions than the one that won. Since no one was able to listen to the winning entry also makes me wonder how Pete heard it in the first place since it wasn't even an entry until afterwards

Everyone has different tastes but I would not have picked the guy who one it, I didnt thing his voice was any good and the dylan style really only sounds good with dylans song and not adapted to other songs
