McClure speed glide

This was my first attempt at speed gliding. What better place then McClure! It was obviously going to be a sled riding day so I decided to make it exciting and fly as fast as I could to the LZ. Of course, it would have been faster if I had remembered to go to full VG. I launched at 1/4 VG and just couldn't take my focus off the flight to go to full VG. Next time!

'nice' love the whip!
When we were kids, back in the late 70,s, we used to race down, fraily, sauk and black mnt, all about 2.5k+ to 4k+. msl. it was fun experimenting with different ways to beat the others down, then we would do it again, and again, same day, sometimes in the dark....now, gota be very soarable or not going......
