Laz people are one of the oldest socities of Anatolia who could manage to protect their language and culture till now.On the contrary of common opinion,laz root hasn't any connection with Greek,Armenian and Turks.Lazca(laz language) belongs to southwest Caucasus language group.Southwest Caucasus language group consist of lazca-Megrelce,Svanca,Gürcü(Ge­orgian language).Don't forget that before greek colony,native ethnic gruop had been living in Blacksea.
