mike huckabee is a dangerous man

Look as much as I respect the Bible, I doubt I'll be comforted by the 50 shekels my daughter's rapist is obliged to pay me (btw that's 13.13$ US as of today's exchange rate)
-
Yea that's true
-
you forgot forcing rape victims to marry their attackers

Oh wow. I liked Huckabee for a long time because it always seemed to me that he thought his religion was great, but not trumping his policy. But for me, having a secular, totally secular government is just about the most important thing our country can have, so this comment definitely made him lose my vote for the rest of his life (not that he would have had it anyway, I prefer liberal, non-religious people like myself). Shame on him for saying this.

huckabee is a sickening fool.

these christian idiots think they can be so nasty to atheists just because they dont believe in god and want one or two things changed in america, yet the christians think that they can do the forceful acts themselves, anyone who ridicules is rood and disrespectful, fuck religion for good and i look forward to its iradication through self realisation their is no supernatural skydaddy with a phsycopathic intelect. cheers. Good luck to the american atheists.

Huckabee is a demagogue who is guilty of "the treason of reason" (as I like to call it) to even suggest that the secular constitution of america should be carved by bronze-age beliefs in imaginary friends.

lmfao what a fcking dumbass!
Stone adulterers??
Really?
You cant eat shellfish?
Slaughter entire villages that don't believe in you?
We're asking the lunatic who believes in magic, productive underwear what he thinks about the Constitution....oh jesus what's next?
Huckabee was talking about abortion, human rights, marriage, etc. I have no problem with that. Separation of church and state has been warped so much from what even Jefferson meant it to be. And ITS NOT part of the Constitution.

The trouble is southernsem that he wants to promote those things via changing the constitution because of a religious doctrine. To write policy based on a religious doctrine constitutes a theocracy.

Well, it may be according to a religious doctrine, but that doesnt take away from the fact that it is true. You cant totally separate church and state. (the way people define it nowadays..which is not right)Our constitution says that murder is illegal. thats in the Bible. does that make the constitution wrong? Besides abortion isnt just a religious issue, its a human issue.

Like i said. He can make the changes, But to do it because of religious doctrine is unconstitutional. He can form policy, But to base it on religious doctrine is unconstitutional. The point is he said what he said because of his religion.
And seriously. Do you think murder was ok before the bible? The bible based it's rules on social standards, Not the other way round.
