Scorpions about Bon Jovi 1

The first one is about the first U.S. tour as support for he Scorpions. Klaus Meine says, they listened to some tapes of bands who had released new records. There was a song with the name 'runaway' of a band with the name Bon Jovi. They said to themselves 'hey, they sound cool, we want to have them a support'
Matthias Jabs adds that at the beginning except for the song 'runaway' there was not much about Bon Jovi, they were anxious but it didn't work. Bon Jovi didn't move a lot on stage but somehow it didn't work, and that was why they were not so good in the beginning. Their Manager, DocMcGhee, saw it, so Bon Jovi wasn't allow to go backstage or to the tour bus. They had to go to the mixer or to the side of the stage when the Scorps played just to see how to do it and to learn from the Scorpions.
