For me Lofting ore floor work is about being able to do what ever u feal when ever u feel!! im not saying that my moves is strictly lofting moves! and i still have mad respect 4 the the whole background and history to it!! BUT in the end 4 me its all about the dance and moving to music thats important and i dont want to think about whats right and whats wrong cus then u are no longer free in you're expression and in the end isn't that what lofting ore dancing is all about!!???

In the "LOFT(s)", we were not limited to only floor moves. For some reason people think it was just dives, spins, flips. That is not the case, we also get busy up top! I keep telling you younger dancers, to come to the soil where it all started. Feel the energy of the streets, smell the air, etc. Seek out reputable sources/dancers that frequented the loft parties.

@airnflips7 Listen,the term Lofting is from the club called the loft which from mid 70 through 1988 roughly the height of it was in NYC 99 prince st.to be exact.before there it if iam right,old heads correct me.it was on broadway around canal i believe, shout out Nicky Siano,he could tell you exactly.thus the term lofting.Paradise Garage,legendary both clubs.allmyclub heads peace.Sound Factory,Timmy Regisford,the late larry levan,and of course Loft Founder David Mancuso who people owe alot to.
