Auto Map Issue with VST in Ableton Live 8

Having this strange issue with Novation SLMk2 49 Keyboard. The automap has assigned itself to different parameters which is not all that great. What i tried doing was to re-assign all the knobs to different parameters by using the learn function as they did in tutorials by Novation.

The issue is the mapping not getting assigned by learn mode to the sets of knobs in controllers section on Minimoog Vst. I pressed Learn 1st, then clicked the 1st (topmost Knob) and then turned the 1st knob on keyboard for getting tht parameter assigned to it. Problem is the automap GUI shows its mapped but the knob on VST does not move at all.

Similar thing with the 2nd and 3rd parmeters (glide & Mod MIx) on the VST, but what happens now is more weird. Now all the 3 parameters move in automap GUI even if one knob on controller is moved and none of the parameters move in VST.

Is this bcos Minimoog is not in the automap data base or shud we map everything fresh by using Midi learn feature on Ableton and save this mapped page on automap server for furture use ?

you haven't selected the automap version of your plug in in Ableton or you haven't ticked it in the Plug in Manager in your mac programs as you are sending to it as a midi map which would propably require you to change your settings in ableton to recieve midi cc,s-which you don't need as you should be using the automapped version of the moog plug in.

It seems like you have not selected the Automap wrapped version of the Plugin, which is why this is not working as expected. Also it may be due to your MIDI Sync Preferences. Please double check these in Automap > DAW SEtup Guide..

Wrap your plugins in the Automap Plugin Manager by ticking them, then selecting the pluginname(automap) version.
