Fastest i had mine was 140. It was a stock automatic.

@dalemllns Yes they did. The Mustang had a 5.0 in 1995, but the Thunderbird came with a 4.6.

@210Terranovas That's why when I get one , I will get a t56 6 speed. It has the same forth gear as the 3650 in the gt , but 5th gear is a whole lot better for racing and will have no problem accelerating, and 6 gear is .63 unlike the gt's .68,so there will be some better mpg along with better top speed. Also 1st gear is longer so that will be a 0-60 helper.

@p4ndiamond they mad a 4.6l engine since 92, it was however not offered in a mustang till 96, and the heads were the same...

nice video, you are my hero, the fastest I ever got my 04 was 148mph, it was still gaining speed but It scared the crap out of me going that fast on georgia roads. One dip kicks your wheels from under you. I raced a redline and wasn't paying attention, had to powerslide my mustang at 130mph... No more super speeds for me. I also love this ignorant comment about 95's with 4.6l v8s lol... thats funny. Anywho check out some of my videos :D

@csanchez15 I will check out your channel. I miss my GT sometimes. It was a fun car to just cruise in. I moved on and bought an LS2 GTO. I liked the rarity factor of the GTO and the comfort. Not to mention the GTO is much much faster. Had the goat up to just over 170 and it was still going a bit. Crazy fast vehicle.
