2 Brilliant British actors Cyril Cusack and Richard Burton; totally consumed in their characters. Who got Best Actor that year? Lee Marvin playing a drunken cowboy in Cat Ballou, a silly comedy. LOL, that's Hollywood for you.
Okay, its at least 30 years since I've seen this film and although I don't doubt that the reels have not been mixed up, I'm waiting to find out how what happened before Burton met Cusack has bearing on what has happened afterwards.
