@Gromit801 The topic of atomic bombs and the nazis is still speculated, There are views that the nazis were working on atomic bombs and tested them on Rügen island just north of Peenemuende were many high tech weapons and rockets like the V2 were being built. There also exist a German map showing the projected destruction of their atom bomb on new york city, were they planned to bomb an area near down town new york. The only thing they didn't have was a proper delivery system.

Why haven't Komets been draged near to the american bomber formations? It's range was too short , so if the Jerrys would have draged it by something like an Me410 close to the bombers it would have much more time to attack. It was originally a small glider so it must have worked. It's armament should be different also - two powerfull Mk 103 under the fuselage instead of the short range Mk 108s.
