Ray has to think about his budget for doing anything with training. In America, there are people like Tom Brown's Survival School and other places that teaches the same thing. However, I do like Ray's style of teaching. He's the person who can communicate the idea across his audience. That's why I'm buying all his video here in the States.
I like your point of view. Ray is above all an educator. I used to watch this show way before he became global, way before Bear Grylls. Bear knows his stuff too, but the difference is that Bear's forte is based on showmanship and excitement. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm more into knowledge of survival than ratings as an entertainer. Bottom line: I wouldn't mind having both these guys with me in a tough situation; or a pub over a few pints.
