Lemur island is a small island owned by Vacona Lodge, Andasibe Mantadia National Park, Madagascar where rescued lemurs are kept and visited by tourists. When I visited in 2006 the island was a somewhat calm place with excellent photography opportunities. Now, however, it has become a bit of of a circus due mainly to the bananas given to the visitors for feeding the lemurs. Although a circus, believe me it was a fun afternoon and as you can see, still with good photography prospects. Apologies for the females cackling on the video (me being one of them), we all got a bit excited!!
