Remotely Controlling

An awesome movie I made with an expensive camera at film school in San Francisco at Ninth Street Independent Center TILT Studios. It was fun and I made it in 2 weeks.

Summary:

Main Character Is watching TV when he notices a weird button he has not seen before. He pushes said button which causes an earthquake, making the buttons on the remote work in real life. He doesn't realize this, and continues watching TV. He attempts to pause the show he's watching, but instead pauses the world. He notices that someone in the background is frozen, and pushes the pause button again to unfreeze him. The person walking by just keeps going, unaware of what really just happened. The Main Character goes outside to try out the remote some more and sees one guy eating food and two girls fighting. He pushes the pause button just as one girl was about to stab the other and as the guy eating food was choking. He replaced the stabbing weapon with a banana and pushed on the guy's stomach to prevent him from death by choking. He then unpaused life and left, whereas the guy stopped spit out the little bits of food that made him choke and the girl caused no damage with the banana and proceeded to eat it. The Main Character then walked up the street a little and was about to pass some guy on a cell phone he paused time and took the guy's phone. He then went to unpause time, but it didn't work. He checked the supercharged batteries, only to find that they were dead. He gets dizzy and becomes depressed, realizing that he just paused the world forever. He leans on the side of the building so that he won't fall, and he notices that there are two fully charged batteries on the windowsill near his hand. He grabs them, replaces the old batteries with the new ones, and unfreezes time. He goes back inside the building he was in before, and, so that no one finds the remote and *really* pauses the world forever, he smashes the remote.
