PandaSNES - Chrono Trigger double speed

PandaSNES running the intro of Chrono Trigger on the Pandora handheld.

The system is still underclocked to 500MHz, but now its Linux kernel has had notaz's L2 cache fix applied. With the frame rate lock turned off the intro runs twice as fast as full speed with all transparencies and effects enabled.

this is possible, but Skype would have to develop its own version for the Pandora. Unfortunately, Skype isn't open source.

well...it is not far away from nosound pxa272 oced to 624 mhz... make vid with sound, it is crucial to measure real emu speed..

If sound emulation is turned off it will give the emulator a considerable speed boost, but in this example, speakers may be unavailable or the volume turned down.

it has a microphone built-in, so you may be able to use a skype for linux port and make calls
