  • I'm from America, but I despise the name "Sorcerer's Stone". I just wish they kept it as "Philosopher's Stone".

  • Yes yes, it would have been nice if Miss Rowling didn't have to change the title of her novel from Philosopher's Stone to Sorcerer's Stone. It would have been nice if she had been able to give her real name instead of a pen name.

But the important thing is THE STORY IS STILL THE SAME.

Stop fighting like unruly children over little details that don't even matter.

  • Mummy, mummy, can I listen to the YogPod?

    Fuck off!

    But mummy...

  • @uglyfudge i thought it was still called the philosopher's stone?

  • @tylerbg96 Personally I prefer the hardcover adult Bloomsbury editions because they look SO COOL!!!

  • People debate the stupidest stuff. Does it really matter the title? We are all fans of the same things. As for the covers, personally I like the US covers more. They look more fun

  • *the first novel is called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone*

    American publishers: The what?

Jo Rowling: Honestly, don't you people read?

  • hahaha the girl in the greens all like:

"MEE! MEE! PICK ME! PICK ME! ME ME ME!"

  • This book and the others that followed helped me through tough times at school.

I was Bullied, isolated and felt alone. I remember going to the library and all I ever read was Harry Potter. those books helped me escape my life for a couple of hours and helped me get through the day.

Thank you J.K Rowling. Thank you for giving me a childhood!
