after WWII ,the very old fashioned conservative era Republicans long to return to Republicans & Democrats agreed that the very rich among us owed the Country that gave them that opportunity 66% of their gigantic incomes. It was the clear right thing when so much needed to be done to rebuild after the war, it was unpatriotic to question.
