Dark Souls - Thrawn Kills the Gaping Dragon

This video will show you how to kill the Gaping Dragon in Dark Souls. He looks mean, but he's actually very easy... The easiest I've encountered so far anyway. Tips are in the video.

@thrawnomega ok dude im at this part but i got cursed and im not sure how to get rid of it.....is it possible to kill this guy with half health

@kruthix This guy can be killed at half health pretty easily, just don't take a head on charge attack, as that may kill you in 1 hit. As soon as you can, back-track to the tower after the gargoyle boss fight (just before ringing the bell). There is an NPC there who sells purging stones for 3,000 souls each, which can get rid of your curse. I recommend stocking up on a few extra for the road, too.

please tell me how you kill the mage that shoots you when you fight the boss

@SlashNDash1 You are referring to a channeler on one of the upper levels, right? I highly recommend finding his ledge and killing him before stepping through the fog to fight the boss. I rolled to dodge his magic and then slashed him up at close range. He does not respawn, so once he's down you'll never have to worry about him during the boss. I can't really give directions to him, the place is a maze to me.
