I got my hands on on cheap with a problem the touch screen is not working. How do you repair this problem ? palmtreo 600

I was recently on some carnival rides with my phone in my pocket, later that day when i was going to check my text messages the screen appeared cracked the part the was cracked appeared blue with the back light on. i was still able to call people but that was about all. now the batery has ran out while my charger was broken, so i went to buy a new charger, charged it and now during the setup i can calibrate it because i dont know where to touch. i have tried tapping everywhere and it does work.

how do i reset the treo 600? because the touchscreen does'nt work so i cant even get to the home page
