The one mistake in this video: at about 1:40 it is claimed or implied that Muhammad wrote the Qur'an; this is untrue. Muhammad was illiterate, and incapable of reading or writing. Muhammad dictated the Qur'an to his followers (the Sahaba), who wrote down what he said on whatever surfaces were available. The Qur'an was not compiled into a single volume until after Muhammad's death.

  • The problem is these brainwashed fucks live in the 16th century with no freedoms at all. They are brought up with this type of BS and very rarely do any of these people think for themselves because if they did, they would realize just how stupid the Islam religion (and ALL religions) is. It's just a way to control the empty minded and currently only works on people who live in the sand.

As well, you're pretty fucked up if you're willing to kill someone over what a book/imaginary friend says.

  • @bertamus11 16th century? the 16th century was the age of the scientific revolution, the age of Tycho Brahe, Francis Bacon, Copernicus and Galileo.

Even in the 7th century, in places like the Byzantine and Persian empires, life was far from primitive.

It is explicitly Islam. All religions may be false (I don't necessarily believe so, I'm generally agnostic with Christian, Pagan and Hindu sympathies), however that doesn't mean they are all equally sick or retarded. Christ really did preach love.

  • I'd be interested to know where in the Qur'an it says lying (Taqiyya) is okay to non muslims, but also where it says that the later verses supersede the earlier ones? Would help me a lot as I have a debate on Islam coming up, haha

  • @shrapn0 Everything stated at the aforementioned verses is only cemented by Muhammad's own words and deeds as recorded in the Sunnah, particularly (and most importantly, and reliably to the Moslems) the Sahih collections of Ahadith, the Sirat Rasoul Allah by Ishaq/Hisham, and the work of Tabari.

For a good Qur'an browser, that allows you to compare verses from several different translation as well as the transliterated Arabic, go to qb(dot)gomen(dot)org(slash)QuranBrowser (case sensitive)

  • there is evidence that muhammad was literate. he was after all a trader, and there are hadith that describe he wrote letters. however, it is very likely that early verses were made by waraqa bin noufal, the cousin of his first wife, who was a christian monk cast out of the church for heresy. hadith say the revelation stopped for a long time after waraqa died and muhammad tried to commit suicide

  • @moLeOnPoT You are correct, however I am more concerned with what the Qur'an says and what Moslems have typically believed in the past. When studying the tenets of Islam it doesn't matter so much whether something is true, it matters if Moslems believe it to be true.

  • I studied Islam my self and I have found the same information in Reality and in their books, Yes!

  • Just fuck islam and fuck all religions.

  • @wykydtron40551 you are right, despite the deceitful and warmongering nature of Muhammad and Islam, it often doesn't matter to Muslims what the Quran actually teaches, it matters more what they believe that it teaches...sometimes this is a good thing becaue many Muslims don't know their faith actually demands violence...I think this has also to do with the fact that many verses are contradicting each other. Furthermore it has to be noticed that the Hadith sometimes override the Quran

  • @shrapn0 Taqiyya, cont'd:

Taqiyya is not just lies, but dissembling. Moslems are not to be true friends to infidels, as stated throughout the Qur'an:

3:28 - Let not the Believers take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from God: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But God cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to God.

    See also: 3:118, 5:51, 9:23

  • @shrapn0 Taqiyya, cont'd:

66:2 - God has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and God is your Protector, and He is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

also see 9:3, in which Allah is supposed to have dissolved peace treaties with pagans. This is not a one off incident and there is nothing given in the Qur'an that confines it to that single context. The Qur'an is the eternal word of Allah. If it is confined to one context, Allah is not eternal nor a God

  • @shrapn0 Taqiyya:

2:225 - God will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.

16:106 - Any one who, after accepting faith in God, utters Unbelief, - except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from God, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty.
