The Chrysalis Racing Team score a memorable 1-2 finish in the Isle of Man Singles TT 2000.
David and Alison Morris founded the Chrysalis Team in the early 80's. Sadly rider/tuner David Morris was killed racing at the Croft circuit in Yorkshire in September 1999. He had just clinched his second British Championship in a year where he successfully defended his Singles TT title for a third successive year. Tragically, his Wife and Team Manager Alison was to lose her battle with illness just six days later.
Their sons Lee and Neil chose to continue the Chrysalis Racing Team in their honour and recruited TT regulars John McGuinness and Jason Griffiths to ride the renamed Chrysalis AMDM Single Cylinder machines built by their late Father.
TT legend McGuinness and regular podium finisher Griffiths delivered the goods finishing first and second respectively to dominate the race.

I was there!! Saw the Chrysalis bikes go past from just opposite the Railway Hotel and as you say they were immaculate race bikes - maybe my favourite race bikes ever. The Ducati was lovely as well, and what the video does not convey was the DEEP sound of the 720s. You could hear them coming from way back and as they approached the bends the vibes came through your feet and you felt it in the pit of your stomach. Great days.
