@Need2Know08 LOL...you again. Do you know why they bred bulldogs with mastiffs?? For power, rather than size...which gave us the bullmastiff. Smaller in stature, yet far more muscle mass, and the strongest jaw of any domestic animal in the world, and widely regarded as the best watch dog in the business. i could see that being true, but cougars are able to kill prey 4 times there weight, so if it were to suprise attack the dog, it could stand a chance of killing it, i have seen cougars take on bears to protect there cubs.
