@nerfcarnage0 The iPad 2 is more portable than the MBA of-course due to no physical keyboard and it weight lesser. It's all depend what you going to use the device for. I would recommend the MBA for college student over the iPad 2 b/c you can get more things done but like I said, it's all depend what you going to use the device for.
