  • So, the big bang can happen at any time once again right?

  • I don't know, I guess so.

  • big bang runs on the theory that matter and energy and contain electrons that contain quarks. the quarks determain what kind of atom the matter is. if you explode energy you can create matter if the quarks touch at near speed of light or at the speed of light. It's quite confusing but I still like to believe in a god that made the big bang...It all gives me headaches cause I don't know where anything came from :( (new sub)

  • No problem with that! Faith serves a much better purpose grappling with things we don't know than contradicting things we do know.

  • If the Big Bang was real, than rocks should walk and talk! I'm serious, no bullshit

  • You need to bring us along a little more there, ThaDeTox.

  • The big bang explains why the universe is in expention, We cant find out yet how and why it happened, but can proof that it did happen.

**For the people saying god is real** There is no logical reason to think that there is a god (no evidence) Ofcourse god can exist if you need to believe in something or if you are looking for answers that nobody can answer but he exists ONLY in your head. *imaginary friend*

Good Luck with the losing weigh contest Joe i joined it too!

  • @tjfree2001

god is real, but not the way human described

  • GOD IS REAL BIG BANG BREAKS EVERY THING OHHH A BALL POOF TREES LIFRE DUMB

  • Having a pair of science degrees, I still have problems with this concept. All occurred from a single super atom going critical and exploding, and because of "expansion" the entire universe simple was, instantly. Hundreds of billions to the enth power light years across, just was. All that came afterward was merely a coincidence, happenstance, purest chance? Really? Tell me, then, Where exactly did this one atom come from?, how was it formed?, why was it formed? Sorry, too convenient.

  • @BRAZEN08 Perhaps not any time. Look up the "Big Bang / Big Crunch" theory. It essentially states that eventually all the massively separated matter from the big bang, would, by gravity, be pulled back together to another singularity and continue to "reset" for another bang. This process is supposed to be about 1 trillion years per bang. Intriguing indeed.

  • "The universe is shaped exactly like the earth, if you go straight along it, you'll end up where you were."

  • I think all she heard was that there was an explosion.

  • If you count everything in it, the Universe is the thing most likely to kill you... Right?

Good story, you've got a new subscriber.

  • Now I have "Hey, nonny, nonny" (as quoted by Emma Thompson in the case of the sound in my head) in my head... and it's not quite saying "hey grams!" sigh...

Randomly going backwards on these time machines makes it clear which ones are truly, truly timeless tidbits of your world.

  • Have to say your a cool guy Joe :)
