@mouldybear - Most of their songs are sung by Gillian so it's not like there aren't other choices. NOTHING David does is unnecessary! His vocal part makes this song so chilling!

If you want a song of betrayal and death, I hope you've heard 'caleb meyer'. David's razor-sharp guitar does the singing for him on this one.

To my ears, a look of the sheer spookiness of their music comes from the combined voices. Unlike in most great singing duos, David's harmony line is just BELOW Gillian's. No guitars here but their sound is based on her lead voice and his lead guitar, and her backup guitar and his backup vocal. It's been a magic combo for five CDs now. Riley Stokes
