haha yeah really...you obviously deon't know what a 6 cylinder sounds like...this is clearly a 6 cylinder sound...look up honda cbx. It's almost identical...it's not a 4 banger sound. You need to train your ears..6 cylinder and 12 cylinders are music to ears...they hit alot of harmonic pitches because of the way they fire which is why. Specifically to Inline 6's and V12's...VR6 included.

@princepersia1 well true, but I can tell you on average (my generalization) about 95 percent of the world would not have that kind of money to spend on a car including full grown adults. I live in Seal beach but grew up in Beverly hills most of my life and really not many of our class could afford something like that. Now thats on there own makings but of course there parents could have but thats a whole different thing. so my statement still applies.

@burritomaker69 yeah man i got mine dirt cheap cuz the subframe and VANOS was essentially destroyed so i spent 13k for body work and essentially everything but electronics and the engine. i spent a good week on the engine myself haha but its great cuz now i have what is pretty much a new, now modded, e34 m3 that cost about 20k in total including mods, and its a week before i turn 18 hahaha

@PhotonicsKid I think you're generalizing about "a high school student", where I grew up $20,000 for a car wasn't alot and if you really think about it it isn't. It really depends on where you live, what country and what areas. If you live in Africa obviously not everyone is gonna be driving an M3.

@princepersia1 what average high school student can plop down 20K without taking a loan out? Thats what a decent e46 will set you back. now if you wanna buy a shitty one and pay for it later then sure a high school student can afford an e46.

@stephenyesavage my e46 was my first car but haha bad choice every things so expensive, although it was was harder when I first got the car because I got it when I was 16. Now price wise its nothing haha my e92 m3 and e60 m5 are way more expensive in comparison to maintain haha The funny thing is as soon as I got my m5 I didnt even think of which car to buy upgrades for and haphazardly bought a few things for my m5. Now I kinda wish I had put that money into my e46. I will soon enough.

@burritomaker69 i just got my e46 m3 and im 17, almost 18, and i decided that im not gonna spend a lot of money on an entire new exhaust system, just get electronic cutouts! way cheaper and its essentially open headers

Ehh... I've never been a huge fan of the way an NA I6 sounds, but I still love the way the M3 looks.
