Good advice. The thing is I just get focused on what I'm doing and lose track of where my hands are at. That's why I bought a cheap 7" LCD TV to use as a monitor that I keep in front of me. That's helped me somewhat...

You could just use a mix of 50% elmers white glue and 50% water

If you're worrying about getting shots of your arm obscuring what you're doing in the future, you're obviously right-handed so put the camera over your left shoulder. Problem solved.

ah drat, you got me interested in how it was gonna turn out (& i don't even own a model trainset) & you never had a shot of the entire layout! you turd! :)

the bit that i could see was convincing tho. why doesn't model train enthusiasts ever make a train layout depicting a zombie holocaust? the trains could be armored & full of survivors!
