You are incorrect here. I just returned from Sweden where I attended both hockey and bandy events at the highest level. The reason bandy players are faster is that they sharpen their skates with a radius that leaves substantially more blade on the ice - essentially, like a speed skate. They can't make quick turns or quick starts/stops like hockey players...but they are substantially faster.

I saw that some people said that it was Oksanen in the goal, but believe me it´s Hiekkanen.
I´ve seen Pasi Hiekkanen in so many games so I recognise him.

Jag vet, Jag vet. It's just that the English commentator got it wrong at the time (he can't know bandy that well and just read the name he had on the sheet, since Oksanen is usually in goal.

It isn´t Timo Oksanen in the finn´s goal it´s our(Brobergs IF) goalie Pasi Hiekkanen

I know, the commentator got it wrong. I think he assumed it was Oksanen because he was usually the goalie in the other matches in that VM.
