@mitchtickler During a race her voice is probably super deep and intense. I don't have a deep voice naturally but in a race i can make my voice very demonic (im a guy coxie)

... and everyone who rows seriously would recognise the distinction between claiming to be the best rowers in the world (untrue) and being the best crew in the world. This explains and, indeed requires, the humility (or at least the reduced ego) which is apparent in this interview. Pity about the bozo asking the questions but a brilliant result for the women.

Wow guys, they proved themselves to be the best rowers, in the world. Anyone who rows knows that when you go out there, you give it everything, just as these ladies did. They got first because they work their asses off everyday.
For being the best in the world, they're pretty damn humble. Even if they weren't, what good is being the best at something if you can't pat yourself on the back for it?
