Here's an IPA about 7 days into fermentation. The "strong" part of the primary fermentation went for about 3 days, then it started to slow down, and started the flocculation. Now it's heading into the 'beginning' of the secondary fermentation. In a week or so if it clears up enough, I'll transfer to secondary on a dry hop of Simcoe and Amarillo, then do a cold crash.

White Labs California Ale yeast pitched from a 1 pint starter. SG was 1.062.

I was "commissioned" to help make a beer for a few friends of mine as a Christmas gift - that's why the names in the video.

  • @cnuts83 6 or 6.5 gal. This ended up being a little smaller batch (about 4 gal), that's why all the headspace.

  • what gallon carboy is that?
