"Coming Together" is an intergenerational community arts project designed to bring six youth (involved with the Regent Park Focus Youth Media Arts Centre) and five seniors (living in and around Regent Park) together, to create a video documentary and photography exhibit as part of Ryerson University's Silver Screens Arts Festival. This video is the result of a three-month process where youth and senior participants connected, shared opinions, stories and experiences. They developed relationships that bridged ethnic and cultural boundaries; took field trips where they showed each other areas of the city that were meaningful to them; and spoke about their lives and shared what their hopes were for the future. As part of the project, youth and senior participants collectively learned about photography, videography and the art of storytelling.

Consisted of teens reporting senior's tales. homeless, their past jobs, relationships of teens with seniors, seniors sharing insights, teens take seniors to visit to Muslim temple, odd comments from seniors. Where was beginning, middle, end? As a commissioned film by TCHC, I was disappointed. 62 page views as of July 6, 2010? It tells all on April 4, 2011.
