PlusOfficials: Sorority Obsession in Anthrax CaseOfficials: Sorority Obsession in Anthrax CaseThe Associated PressThe top suspect in the 2001 anthrax attacks was obsessed with a sorority that sat less than 100 yards away from a N.J. mailbox where the toxin-laced letters were sent. (Aug. 4)Another bizarre twist in the 2001 anthrax attacks. The top suspect in those attacks was said to be --- obsessed with *this* sorority --- Kappa Kappa Gamma. [Notes:show hallway..building sign] The Princeton chapter of the sisterhood --is located here-----just a 100 yards away from this New Jersey mailbox --where toxin laced letters were dropped off... [Notes:show building --and then graphic to mailbox]Multiple U.S. officials tell The AP -- that former Army scientist Bruce Ivins ---had a decades-long interest in the sorority since his own days in college... [Notes:file photos] And now---investigators say ---it's becoming clear WHY anthrax was mailed from Princeton in 2001-----an issue that has been--- one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the case.... [Notes:show letter]Still, authorities acknowledge they cannot place Ivins in Princeton the day the anthrax was mailed. [Notes:file photos]So what is the connection between the army scientist and Kappa Kappa Gamma? [Notes:kappa kappa gamma logo]Government officials say---one possible motive ----- Ivins was apparently rebuffed by a woman in the sorority when he was in college. [Notes:photo of ivins--split screen with other woman (darked out)] Ivins --who was 62, killed himself last week as the Justice Department prepared to indict him on capital murder charges for the deaths of five people poisoned by the anthrax in the weeks following NINE-ELEVEN. His attorney maintains Ivins would have been proven innocent were he still alive. ___ ___, The Associated Press.(****END****) ANCHOR VOICE:-------------------------VIDEO PRODUCER: Michael Waldon ------------------------------VIDEO SOURCE: APTN / AP FILE

I'm glad the white devil is dead. Anthrax has been around scene 1965 it was killing cows and now here it is a no good white man killing people with it. I wish scientist would use their time helping people not killing them.
The day after 9/11, one of the Mexican laborers at the apt. complex where I lived at warned us about our mail being contaminated with Anthrax. We thought he was nuts. Then it came true and he dropped out of sight. I informed the FBI, but they thought I was nuts *shrugs*
The most blantant piece of unresearched propaganda since Bush did his Yellow Cake song and dance at the U.N. - I don't know how they can lie with such straight faces. My sympathies to Bruce Ivins family, a good man harrased to death by his own government to cover up for the incompetence of the FBI. Ivins is the 21st century Oswald - Google Ivins Duley and find out how he was railroaded. He was not homicidal, he was suicidal, he was not indicted and there is nothing but circumstantial evidence.
Every intelligence service in the World knows 9/11 and the fear tactics that followed were an inside job of infamous proportions. It was just a question of how they (foreign governments) could gain something from it by staying silent. America was hijacked by tax hoarders, not the Taliban.
If you're going to report this information why don't you openly discuss the sources so we can make up our own minds as to its importance? This is info-tainment pandering to a very disturbing level of insecurity and credulity.
This story is an FBI cover. "Ivins is said to have been obsessed" BY WHOM? WTF did his 'decades long interest' involve. 'It's becoming clear why ant'ax was mailed from Princeton' The FBI can't connect Ivins to Princeton on that day - a gaping hole in their case. "Gov't officials say" WHO? 'As the FBI was preparng to indict him" They had sevrl more weeks' testimny to present to a Grand Jury, any indictmnt would have been issued by that Grnd Jry. See Glenn Greenwald's blog on Salon. It gets worse.
