Do you remember this short-lived, prime-time CBS TV show from 1977? "The Fitzpatricks" featured a 14-year-old Helen Hunt, with James Vincent McNichol (Kristy's bro), Clark Brandon, Michele Tobin, Sean Marshall, Derek Wells, Mariclare Costello, and Bert Kramer.

I was reminiscing and uncovered my old video tape of the "Halloween" episode (I had a small part in it) and thought I'd share the opening with fellow YouTubers to see if anyone remembers the show. (Wow, hard to believe it was 32 years ago!) I do have the full episode on DVD and can send a copy to you, but only if you're a serious fan of the show! Drop me a message.

  • to bad tvland doesn't it bring it back. so many lost classics.

  • You're thinking of Mulligan's Stew, an NBC series which aired in that same season.

  • Clark Brandon later played a recurring role on "The Facts of Life" as Jo's boyfriend.

  • Wasn't this about a family with a bunch of adopted kids? Mariclare Costello scared the crap out of me in "Let's Scare Jessica to Death"!

  • I TURNED 7 OCTOBER 77!!!

  • Sean Marshall and Michelle Tobin look like brother and sister, but Clark Brandon and Jimmy Mc Nichol didn't look like they could be related, to each other, or the others.

  • This looks good. Helen Hunt. Hells yeah. Thanks for sharing !

  • This was my favorite show I was mad when this went off the air.

  • I remember watching this as a 12 year old and just LUSTING after

    Helen Hunt...She really was gorgeous....

  • Show was cancelled after mom gave birth on tv. Something not heard of in the 70's. Good show though. Helen Hunt only one still in business. I think.
