arhh, im having a nightmare, i cant understand why but i cannot see the hardware control which should be displayed on the right. The black box is completely missing, and also the link button which should sit inbetween is missing also. I thought maybe i pressed a key which has hidden it by accident. but ive looked everywhere and cannot find any reference. can anyone help?

@preamp82 You have to turn them on via your Edirol. I have one and its a pain in the butt. Each program change has different buttons activated. You can either make your own program or scroll through the factory ones until you find one that has all faders and buttons activated. I can' t tell you by memory how to, but it is in the hard to understand manual. Thats how I got mine working.

I just bought an Audiobox USB and this software came in the package. As a complete newb to audio engineering I spent about 3 hours last night tinkering with it and came away with a basic 12 bar recording including four tracks, a few inputs and a multi track send just by following these tutorials... Thanks Presonus for the support, great equipment and user friendly software. So far I'm very impressed.
