Old school can crusher

I wanted to make a can crusher one night on a whim so had to use what was available in my basement: wood. It's certainly not the most sophisticated (in fact, it's probably the least) but damn if it doesn't make 'em FLAT!.

Just make sure you're careful around it (especially if you have kids) as I'm sure it could shear a finger off real easy

what i like about this is that i can cut cans with it too for school projects. put a blade on it and viola. but the downside is that the blade dulls rly fast cuz its smacking the wood if anyone can tell me how to get the blade to not dull plz tell me
