I lived in Brisbane for 4.5 yrs from Dec '02. Twas humid, mostly overcast & rarely rained. Had Black-Outs, Brown-Outs, clogged roads & useless incompetent corrupt Labor Govt. Returned to Perth (ave 8 hrs sun year round) to true Sunshine City (instead of marketing hype). Brisbane people really should get out more. Our beaches (some of the best in the world) are mins away: We don't travel an hour (Nth: Bribie/ South: GC) & our blue river, is wide (not narrow) & has LOTS OF PUBLIC FREE ACCESS...
