This is a video project I've been working on after hours. Hopefully the first of many, (so be sure to look out for more on this channel). I've always been fascinated by the increasing role that technology is playing in our lives, in particular I am interested in the way that film / video is made and shared. Once the visual idea of splitting up video over iphones came to me I knew I had to do it. To make this video I shot and edited eight separate videos, then uploaded them to youtube. I then sent eight phones each a different youtube link, and when the actors all push play at the same time, you can see how it all plays out. The purpose of the video was not to showcase the iphone. The use of the iphone was intended to represent modern technology and its influence on our capability to control and manipulate one's image.
