My name is Peter. Ive designed a new style of beehive, consisting of 5 stackable units.
Its composed of the base that opens up from the back for the easy access.
This design does not require for you to remove each unit in order for you to get an access.
This is my improved design. The beehive attaches to the base. There is a separate
ventilation system. Between the walls there is a foam layer with the air pocket.
At the top there is a screen for the queen bee to prevent it from climbing up.
The base also has a screen that is removable for an easy access for cleaning.
The difference between my design and the standard American is that in my beehives
the frames are inserted sideways through the back door. So each beehive unit has its own
separate door that opens down and can be used for resting the frames on it for the
support during the observation of each frame, so there is no need to remove each
unit to get to the frames. The top part of the unit also has a ventilation system
so the air can easily move in and out, and the roof rests on top of it. This part over
here also has a screen that closes and opens up. I also discovered easy
and effective way of treating my behaves against ticks. So this is my brief introduction to
my design and my dream is to find sponsors to mass produce it. I got interested in
beekeeping at age of 7 and this is my true passion.

  • I love the concept of being able to take frames out the back, Though both of my own beehives have somthing in back of them, It might be better if you could take them from the side somehow. Though that would require turning the frames the other way. I also think the boxes would be easier to handle if you had more of them but smaller units. As to many honey laden frames that large would be quite heavy. Over all though Love the idea being able to take frames out of one box without disturbing others

  • This is so cool!!! Go Peter!!!
