@omnissient How he got 400+ years is baffling. Some get less for murders and terrorism. I wondered if his victims were from good homes and good families and perhaps that was why the rapist got 400 years in prison. USA has discriminatory sentences for crimes. A criminal gets less punished if he were from a good family and his victims receive less justice if they were from wrong addresses. Thankfully, sentences for crimes are already fixed in my homeland, Ireland.

@poodledreams Yeah, you are right about policeman's wife being so blind. Lots of wives of serial sex murderers had thought the same and were in denial. Ppl are often in denial with those they love very much. They cannot believe that loved ones can have split sides of character. My mother was for years like that with my brother and believed him incapable of violence, whereas I disagreed and saw right through him for what he really was. She thought him good until he attempted to kill her & failed.

The thing about rapists being good husband's & father's & not raping their wives is because a rapist does not rape someone he loves and respects, he rapes someone he hates & despises. A rapist is capable of attacking, hurting & killing a stranger while at the same time being an exemplary husband & father. And even be a good police officer with a perfect record. Rapist's don't look like rapist's. They look like anyone because they can be anyone. How can that wife be so blind to the facts?
