ironically Ted, i'm from markham ontario,now living in the philippines,and it's hot and sticky,i got no maple here,but what i do have is a ton of bamboo,good stuff,at least 5 years plus,were talking big honkers!!!

i 'm thinking of sending you some bamboo strips to see what you can do with it,

i got a thicknesser, i can plane it any size you want,
